What's the hurry in getting one tomorrow? There are so many options out there, you might want to take a little more time to figure out what features are important to you. I would also consider buying online from maybe Amazon, you can usually save some $.
I'm having a hard time as well. Gonna be time to replace my OG Droid soon and there aren't too many options for physical keyboard esp if looking for 4G data. I've been trying different ones for a couple months now in anticipation, and found that I can 'type' the fastest with swype.
Like you already said, even though you may not use the data all the time, when you really needed it, it saved your ass. This is reason enough to keep it.
I called today and was told my corporate discount could not be applied. It still would have been cheaper for me even without the discount, but anyone that is using a blackberry for corporate use cannot change to this plan, so no go for me.
