Costco adopts 90-day return policy on electronics

A free 2 year warranty and 90 days return is still way better than Circuit City, Bestbuy, or anyone else for that matter. This keeps all the abusers away and keeps prices low for the rest of us honest people.

Paypal $15 of $30 offer (Feb. 8 - March 31)

How do we know this isn't a PHISHING or SPAM collection site? Why do I see no mention of this on the Paypal website. If this were legitimate, there would be a link to it from the Paypal website itself. Keeping my gmail account free of SPAM is worth more than the $15 I'd save here.

MP3 to WMA Converter???

I second the recommendation for dBpowerAMP. Although, it would be better if you created them from a CD to WMA, not from MP3 (or any other lossy format) to WMA. I know it's popular to bash Microsoft around here, but WMA is infinitely better than MP3 at 64kbps for stereo music, which is why...

It only makes sense since so many people abuse more liberal policies. Many shameless losers probably "borrowed" a laptop and projector for a presentation, only to return it a couple of weeks later before their credit card bill even arrived. It would have cost several hundred dollars to rent...

Klipsch ifi at costco $199 (ipod speakers)

Went to the Costco in Redondo Beach, CA with the intention of getting these. They had them in-stock, but I decided to get the Altec Laqnsing inMotion IM7 they had right next to these instead. The Altec Lansing was $217 vs $199 for these...I decided to go for the AL because it was very portable...

I'm using a 12V Lite-on power supply that originally came with a Motorolla Surfboard cable modem I used to use. The plug size, volts, and polarity were perfect for this. I guess it's a pretty standard size and volts. For what you want, you would need to find a DVD player with built-in DTS...

G*D D*MN these sound SOOOOO much better than the crappy Sony powered desktop speakers I had. I just got around to hooking up these speakers to the Sonic Impact 5066 amp and am so amazed by how good the combination and my high-bitrate LAME VBR MP3s sound. This < $100 amp and speaker combination...
