Ad won't let me see the thread at all

I'm using Edge (on a desktop) and get a TalkTalk advert that is in the wrong place and prevents clicking on anything else once its loaded.

Discussion What are your top 3 PC games for 2018?

Hitman 2. Got Hitman (2016) free with the last graphics card I bought, and this is basically more of the same. Only game I've preordered for years and years. Puzzle game/murder simulator Pinball FX3. Started to get into this in the summer, and many of the tables are absolutely fantastic...

Upgrade now or wait?

Pinball FX3 gets WMS license

Major coup for Zen, they have acquired the WMS (Williams/Bally pinball) license that Farsight (makers of The Pinball Arcade) lost earlier this year. 4 tables in public beta already, with further 4 expected by the end of 2018, and more to follow in 2019...

Any idea if the RTX (GTX) 2060 will be close to the GTX 1070?

Presumably smaller chips will be first on 7nm so maybe they will release a 2060 early next year on same process as 2080/2070s, its either that or as noted above rebrand a 1070 as 2060, and then no 2050 card until TSMC 7nm yields are good enough for it to be viable.

Games that recommend 6 core CPUs

There are several recent games that will benefit from extra cores of 8600K or 2600x but think F1 2018 is the first (released) game to recommend them unless I've missed something. https://store.steampowered.com/app/737800/F1_2018/

What game(s) that will never die?

Company of Heroes is still the best RTS I've played - plenty of them you just try and get resources and spam units, but not in this (especially the second bit); over 10 years old. Often have a go on TF2 to unwind, but its been displaced in the last month by Pinball FX3 that I've just...

Predict Memory Requirements in 2025

I voted for 16Gb because of the word standard in the question, as in that will be the minimum needed for a gaming PC, but could well be 32Gb recommended for some games by then. I've still got a 2500K, bought in 2011 with 4Gb RAM, took me until just over 2 years ago to swap it for 8Gb faster...

Ridiculous how many games there are on that list. I thought I really wasn't going to buy any games this sale, wrong again. Clicked the recommendations list to get the cards each day, and up popped a pinball game - haven't played one for over a decade, but found one where much of its content...
