Yes! Bingo! Solved the problem. It was the AGP bus setting (4x) instead of 8x which was causing (apparently) a huge bottleneck. I upgraded my Mobo agp drivers and presto! Here is my new score: 3dmark 05 score: 4476 Thats more like it! Still havent played around with anything, Im going to...

Hi, thanks for the quick reply! I actually made sure I have enough power, I got a 400W Fortron PS to go with the video card upgrade. I dont have a previous 3dmark 05 score since I upgraded from a ti4200 which cant run it. I'm pretty picky with my system so I know i dont have extra junk...

Whats wrong with my CPU!

Ok guys, I dont know whats going on here, I have an athlon xp 2600, with a stock heatsink and fan, Asus a7v8x-x, 2 case fans one blowing right at the cpu and the other out. I get about 50-60 C at idle, and up to 73C when its running alot of stuff... I dont think this is normal at all! My case...

6800GT or X800 XL?

The 800XL's run purely off the PCI Express (75W) bus as well which is great if you dont want to spend another 100 to upgrade your power supply. Does anyone know how much power the 6800Gt's use? I've read the 6800GTs PCI-X (NOT AGP) have issues and bugs with their drives still being worked out...

Is anyone else here addicted to sushi?

Thats weird guys, maby it's just where I live (Vancouver) sushi is very cheap, I can usally get full for 5 dollars(CDN) with 12 pieces... I used to hate it too, but then I gave it a chance and it was worth it. ;)
