HELP Please!!

I just reloaded a PC with Winxp pro and I am getting this error after it finishs a problem is preventing windows from accurately checking a license for this computer error code:0x8009001d Can anyone give me advise on how to correct this? Thanks

Hi all, When looking at security permissions on a windows 2000 server, I see some names and others look like S-5-1-21-234234556634 ECT... In the very front there is a head with a question mark in front of this. Does anyone know what this means? I have some people that cannot connect to the...

Thanks for your quick Response! Unfortunatly I don't get a stop error. Its just at the blue screen that says Windows NT 4.0 Service pack 6a build 1381. Then ps2 was detected, and stays at this screen,. Any Ideas? Thanks

Hi all, I can't find anywhere anything about this. Windows NT 4.0 SP6a OS and hangs at the blue screen. No error messages. Anyone ever run into this and know how to fix it with out reloading the system? Thanks in advance

Hi all, I have several machines that end up with a couple of files in the C:root of windows NT 4.0. Is there anyway to audit the PC to see where the files are being created at? Or to see if a particular application is putting them there? Thanks for all your help.

Thanks for your replys. Appoligies for being unclear, Here is a short version of what I'm trying to accoplish. On the server, I have copied shortcuts from a local machine that has all the correct target paths in it to the server. All the machines that will get these short cuts will all be...

That would work but I have run into problems. I have the shortcut stored out on the server, when copying and pasting on to the local machine, it picks up the computer name that the shortcut was created on. I think there is a problem with microsoft but not sure.
