I just got the 2405 today but haven't had a chance to hook it up........gotta fly out to Miami for a week and won't get to use it til I get back......I'm gonna be disappointed if it sux!
I just got the PCI-E version of the 6800GS (eVGA Superclocked) and I am very pleased with it. I went from 2 7800GT's (co versions) to the 6800GS and I am satisfied with the 6800's performance. I was really into benchmarking and stuff and once I found a game that I really liked I put the $400...
yep like I told it in the last thread....sold my 2 evga 7800gt co's and picked up evga's 6800gs co and am very happy with the performance in BF2. I left all my settings on high and have no problems AT ALL.....smooth as silk. I also put $400 back in my pocket....6800gs is really a nice card...
Go for the 6800 GS.......I just sold my 2 eVGA 7800gt co's and picked up a eVGA 6800gs co and put $400 back in my pocket and running BF2 like silk........runs good....very happy with my new card. Sure it don' t bench like the SLI setup but who cares...I like playing BF2 better!
