Which version of WMP did you like best?

I wasn't really a big fan until Media Player 11. I now use it over Winamp.

Extelleron, you need HDMI to take advantage of the upconversion. I have this player. It is pretty good.

Can't find satisfying PVR software

I use Media Portal. How old is the comp? I just meet the minimum requirements, but it seems to work OK for me.

Free Visual Studio 2005 Standard Editon

Yeah, I got an email that it shipped in early March, but it never showed up. Oh well, no big loss if it doesn't come. I downloaded the Express editions anyway.

I'm using Windows XP Pro. I have it installed on my older machine, which is an old 1.4 Ghz Athlon. The requirements say that is the minimum, but it is running pretty well so far. I may get a little more RAM for it though (I have 512 MB now).

Have you tried Mediaportal or GB-PVR? Those are the 2 free ones I know of for Windows. I am trying out Mediaportal right now. Looks very promising.

Yeah, I have a 9800 Pro as well. But I need to upgrade my mobo for PCI Express. Hmm...maybe it is time to go dual core at the same time. :)

Exact Audio Copy (EAC) is the best. CDex is pretty good too.

I have MVP 2005 for the PS2. It is really good, but I bet another one is coming out. Didn't EA buy an exclusive contract? Or was that just for football?

People actually think Pinkerton was horrible? Wow.... I love Blue and Pinkerton. Green had some nice poppy songs, but didn't really last for me. I remember Maladroit had a couple of good songs. I mainly remember Keep Fishin'. It seemed like a lot was filler. All I've heard of the new...
