Nikon d3300 question

Yeah sorry, completely screwed up the terminology. The optical viewfinder shoots fine, the live viewfinder makes two click noises and takes a while between shots. I wish I knew enough about this camera to know whether it is a bad refurbished model or if it's a normal delay... It might just be...

Nikon d3300 question

Hello, I just got a refurbished d3300. I'm not sure if this is normal or not since I haven't used many dslrs before, but when I take a picture using the EVF, the camera makes the normal *click-chunk* shutter noise, followed by a second *click-click* sound before finally displaying the taken...

HP G6-1A30US backlight problems

I recently acquired an HP G6-1A30US with a broken LCD screen. The backlight worked fine, but the screen was smashed. So I bought a brand new replacement screen and had it installed. Upon installation the new screen displayed a faint image, with no backlight. So I reinstalled the old screen...

Woke up to DOA computer

DOA = Dead on Arrival so I don't think you could wake up to a DOA computer that you've been using for months :) So it was on last night and this morning it was off? Maybe a fan failed and something overheated. Try testing the CPU fan, the power supply, and the video card fan at least to see...

Please recommend sub $100 video AGP/PCI card

FPS and benchmakrs aren't everything :P A 7 series card should LOOK a lot better than a 5 series card :)

I think this turned out to be an Audio Driver problem. I removed all sound drivers(had to physically delete them from System32, Driver Cleaner Pro didn't remove the Nvidia ones) and played Oblivion, with no sound, for an hour+ and no crashes, compared to 10-15 minutes before. I then installed...

Well I guess my best bet is to just simply ask for the Nvidia tech support number, I couldn't find it on their website of course. I'll give them a call when I get home. Still keep the advice coming though.

You're exactly right. I've heard that it has to do with some RX55 memory controller that gets overloaded. People also say that it's just a compatibility issue between your CPU and video card (hence, my system worked with the 3000+ but not the Opteron), but this compatibility issue also ties into...

I'm positive that my temperatures are fine, the blue screen has come up before I even get a chance to play for 1 second, so nothing would be hot by then. I've also taken off my case door. I thought that the Opterons didn't take a whole lot of power and my video card isn't as too power hungry...
