Was just going to say this, a high quality amp is pretty much required. If you're going to invest in expensive headphones you need to invest in an expensive amp otherwise it's like buying a ferrari with a 15hp briggs&straton under the hood.

caffeine and video games

Not too long ago I realized that caffine actually made me better at shooters. Booze just makes me worse and I get frustrated more often. I love having a coffee and owning b1tches like it's my job. Hell I'm drinking one right now, who wants their ass handed to them?

LCD or CRT for gaming?

For all those whining about how X2 is not worthit for games

Pfff this means nothing. Show me some numbers. I am seriously doubting anything will come of these "optimizations". A real multi-threaded game is going to take much longer to develop, and I know the guys at monolith didn't start with multi-threading in mind. Oh and theres no skipping issue...

Wow.. look at the Combat scenes from AOE III

Maybe it's just me but I'm not all that impressed graphics wise. The actual gameplay graphics don't look much better than whats out there currently.
