Blue Screen Help

I'm getting a blue screen when booting up. Here's the error message: STOP: 0x0000007B (0XF79F7528,0XC0000034,0X00000000,0X00000000) I searched microsoft's site and found similar errors, but not this one (was missing the 0XF79F7528 component). Can anyone help me resolve this? Thanks

New computer - part suggestions

Budget = as low as possible with an acceptable machine. She's my fiancee... we're trying to pay for a wedding, and the idea of spending money on more computer parts (I just built mine with my work bonus) does not settle very well with her. I think a $500 - $800 machine would be well...

New computer - part suggestions

I just built my first computer, and, except for some very minor issues I'm sorting out, it's awesome. The problem came when my fiancee (who lives with me), noticed the great computer and has been on it ever since. When I come home from work, she's surfing the web and checking her email...

Just getting started...

Update: The DRAM didn't work in slots 1 and 3, but it works in slots 2 and 4. 4 doesn't work alone, only 2. 2 and 4 can be used for dual. I used the following steps in the BIOS to be able to load a very conservative, stable system (stolen from another board): ? Clear the CMOS. ...

Lanparty NF4 DRAM BIOS settings

Has anyone experienced problems trying to switch to the correct DRAM voltage in the BIOS (i.e. my DRAM is 280V, but it won't let me switch to anything from the default 260V). Thanks~

So what you're saying is that the RAM will work in slots 2 and 4 even with the Zalman 7000? It boots now long enough for me to get into setup. I have set everything up the way I think it should go, but now it won't let me set up the RAID. More specifically, in the BIOS, when I enable...

Just getting started...

Thanks for the posts! Here's an update: All four power supplies are plugged in (now - I was missing the one you mentioned). It still didn't work. I tried pulling out the ram and putting it back in, no luck. BUT THEN... I took the ram out of slots 1 and 3 and I put only one back in, but...

19+" Gaming Monitors? Recommendations?

I have an NVIDIA GeForce 6600GT video card - I looked on the Dell site and didn't see that video card listed as one of the ones able to support the widescreen 2005FPW. Anyone know if this is accurate? Would I need a better video card to get everything out of that monitor?

19+" Gaming Monitors? Recommendations?

I have been scouring newegg and zipzoomfly and several other sites looking for a good monitor that is at least 19", has a low response rate, and is just an overall high quality monitor for between $300 to $500ish. I haven't had a lot of luck. Any recommendations? Thanks!
