Wireless question (odd scenario)

Just got a HP ZT3340US

Just got a brand new HP ZT3340US and am lovin it. The general design of the laptop is great, it's slim, and not that heavy (only 6.6lbs for a 15" widescreen). The display size is pretty decent too... 1280x800. And the display is really sharp, pictures look amazing and so do DVDs. Battery...

8X AGP vs. 4X AGP?

8X AGP vs. 4X AGP?

Just curious about the AGP speeds. My machine currently maxes out at 4X, but I see that all new cards are utilizing the 8X AGP. If I were to buy an 8X AGP card (ie. 800xt) would it be bottlenecked drastically by my current (4X) AGP slot speed or no? Any input appreciated....

Just joined the UD anandtech team

I figured i'd start contributing my idle PC time to a good cause. My machine is a p4 2.66Mhz with 512MB of ram so with all that idle power it makes me feel a bit selfish. The UD project seems to be the most appealing to me because I actually lost an Aunt to cancer. I'm away from my computer...

Zboard worth getting?

I had one and the keys on it would stick fairly often. A friend of mine had one as well and his did the same. I ended up trashing it and replacing it with a reliable logitech.

Best Value Desktop Replacement around $1400?

A laptop with a base harddrive with 7200RPMs is fairly rare. More than likely you'll have to do that part separate.
