AMD Catalyst 12.6 Beta

Is your browser being used? I know on 12.4 IE and firefox browser would cause gpu usage to go up and down. I turned off acceleration in the advanced options and this keeps gpu usage at the low state.

Disable hardware acceleration in browser advanced settings. This should work.

Help with 3570k build

I'm guessing 1.35v better than 1.5v ram?? Which 600w psu's are good anyways, just for future reference, I will probably never go sli or xfire, so probably won't need more power then that. I think I decided on my case. I'm gonna splurge up and get a corsair 500r, I figure a nice case may last...

Top tier 7850 availability at Newegg?

Sorry, missed the post about gift cards. You could always sell your gift cards and buy somewhere else. But, I guess that is the wrong direction if you are broke. Sapphire seems to supply the most 7850's. I have been tracking them for awhile now and just got my non-OC sapphire 7850 installed...

Cons of a 27" monitor versus a 24"?

I like my 25.5" 1200p monitor, love 16:10 aspect ratio. Looks plenty big enough at my distance and getting a higher resolution makes running games harder. I do want to try out a 120hz monitor to see what the fuss is about.

The Radeon 7850 is an overclocking beast

Dunno how fast the gtx 460 is, but a 7850 should handle that resolution very well. I ordered a non-OC Sapphire version to save $10, so you know my stance on that.

Ordred Sapphire 7850 non-oc, 1200/5800 realistic?

Ordred Sapphire 7850 non-oc, 1200/5800 realistic?

Luck of the draw. I get my non-OC sapphire 7850 today. Probably no binning since OC version has such a small overclock. I hope to get 1050 core on stock voltage and at least 1150 stable with safe voltage tweaks. Anything better will be a bonus for me.

What? No witcher 2 or dark souls? Don't understand your hate on 3rd person view. Although I also don't have much interest in Diablo. Witcher 2 was fantastic though and can't wait to play dark souls on pc.
