Awesome, thanks for the info! So that is what I will do then, two RAID-0 arrays. One final quick question: Which of the A8V's RAID controllers do you suggest I put the primary RAID-0 array on (the 74GB Raptors)? VIA VT8237 or Promise PDC20378? Does it even make any difference? Thanks again!
I haven't looked into what software I would use for my backup, my work uses Ghost for their servers I believe which are obviously set up in raid arrays (but not SATA). Thank you much for your recommendation though, I will look into Acronis.
If I am able to partition with no problem then...
OK so after reading the ASUS A8V manual (thanks guys for the links) I came up with this conclusion on how to set up my drives on this board:
-----------------------------------------

Two WD 74GB Raptor 10000 RPM (SATA) drives installed on this array

But I did want to say I would strongly discourage you from using a P4 if I...
There is a web site that can be found Here that is really awesome for walking you through clean Windows XP installs. Although it adds a lot of advanced stuff that is only an option and not required but I'll post it here for your reference anyway. It helps to set up your machine to be faster...
Thanks for the input. I'll prolly just stick with the single LCD I was planning on getting anyway and adding a 42" Plasma on my wall above that sometime in the near future for other things other then gaming. Thanks again, the multi Vid Card set up suggestion was a big help as well, things to...
I am looking into getting a multi-monitor set up for my gaming machine at home. I know about Digital Tigers and a couple other companies that offer this type of setup service. What I would like to know is:
1) Are these good options for gaming?
2) How many monitor cables do these setups have...
IMO you can't go wrong with the Sennheiser PC155 USB Headset... best headset available atm. Sound is absolutly awesome and of course it has a built in mic.
