Building a Video Editing Machine

I have a budget of $2000 and am looking for a setup for a dual-monitor computer to be used exclusively for video editing and DVD authoring. I will be using Vegas 5.0+DVD software. I already have the monitors, so the $2000 would be used for the system itself. Thanks for your help! Chris
