I agree with entity. I bought my thinkpad off the IBM Ebay store. Good prices for great machines.

thoughts on 17" notebooks?

I think for most people 17'' is too big. But for designers, video editors, web masters, etc. it is extremely attractive.

What are some unique benefits of Trees, Linked Lists, Stacks and Hashtables?

I know a ton of people who got good grades off pure memorization. That said those people are the worst programmers, people who think that they're good programmers because they know how to do the class projects, but that lack creativity and depth.
