Pt. Defiance has some different animals than the Woodland Park Zoo and Seattle Aquarium. I wouldn't go out of your way unless you're really into critters like Polar Bears and whatever they have there. I would recommend the Museum of Flight instead, it's closer and adds a bit of variety to what...

This is how they do it with aircraft (don't ask me how I know). For those of you opposed to this tactic - Do you agree that it's ok for somebody to use a radar detector to avoid getting a speeding ticket?

Question for So-Cal residents

Definitely recommend this if you like coasters. If it's a weekend you'll probably need to spring for a Gold Flash Pass unless you want to stand in line for 2+ hours per ride.

What are these bites on my girlfriend? (w/pic)

Another vote for her laundery detergent or washing machine. Try a "no dye" "no perfume" laundry detergent and if that doesn't work wash her sheets in another washer (if it's an older washer it could have mold built up in it somewhere).

For those that do not live in SoCal: Why do you visit Disneyland? What compels you?

Yup, they just raised prices 5/20 to thin the herds a bit. It's caused much angst on the Disney forums. You can still get some multi-day park hoppers at the old prices (5-6 days for around $225) at some travel outlets or employee discount places for a limited time.

A small fortune? You'll spend more to take your family to any professional sporting event. If you do the math it's a heckuva deal. $50 for 16 hours of rides, shows, people watching, memories, etc... You just need to learn how to deal with the crowds and work the fast passes, etc... To...
