Solved! 4x16GB not on QVL for AMD X570 3900X, is that an issue?

I went ahead and bought the four sticks of Corsair LPX Vengeance 16GB 3200 ram which I've just finished building the PC with and it's working great, booted up straight away and seems fine with gaming. Thanks again for the prompt assistance which is just what I needed to go ahead with the build.

Question New 3900x build for Lightroom, video editing, gaming and VM's

After all that I stupidly hadn't checked the case size and assumed it would fit on the desk but it doesn't and I don't think I'm going to get a mid-tower case that has optical drive bays and a suitable number of HDD bays so it looks like a full tower is the way to go.

Thank for your reply, is there any particular case series you would recommend looking at? I'm finding it difficult to identify cases that do what I need as many of them don't have space for optical drives or a decent number of hard drives.

16 vs 32 gbs of ram

How old is your primary GPU?

I've a single AMD 6950 2GB which started off as a pair but its partner died some time back, I haven't been up to much on the PC so thought no point in upgrading but if I can decide between an FE and open air cooler on a GTX 1070 then the PC will have a new GPU shortly. John
