Just a heads up, even though the link for the bundle is no longer working, when you add both to your cart, deal looks to still be alive. My local store, St. Davids, also finally has some of the motherboards in stock now.
I did a similar replacement. Bought a new board 3 weeks ago with the $25 off coupon that was floating around, swapped out the old one and made sure all was well before returning the old board for a full refund. CSR tried to give me a hard time at first with the return, but I got my refund.

I have a similar setup, 2500k with the P8P67 standard and switched out the stock cooler for a 212 when I exchanged the MB for a Rev3 board. Your temps mirror mine and I think all is fine. I would bet you never updated the BIOS with your old board. I noticed with the shipping BIOS...
Just got home and read the email from MC. Was thinking about returning my Asus P8P67 before my 30 day return period, but will just wait till the new motherboards are in and get an exchange. Kudos to MC and Intel.
Finally got my pickup ready email right after a call to the store to find out what was wrong. Picked the 2500k and Gigabyte combo for $280, thinking maybe I should have chosen the ASUS for the additional $20. Off to St. Davids store now.
