Nope. I use calculus everyday, and as such, have had to practically memorize the basic methods of integrating forms of a+bx. The integral of xdx/(a+bx) is 1/b^2(a+bx-a ln|a+bx|)+C

Took dog to vet today...

Edema is simply swelling around the eye that is a result of the conjunctivitis (commonly called "pink-eye"). Conjunctivitis is easily spread amongst animals, and can transmit to humans, so wash your hands after administering drops and don't rub your eyes if you can help it. No big problems...

fubar-ed my mandrake installation *fixed* Now with more questions!

1. Do an internet search on a working computer and find the proper specs for your monitor. You may even find the horizontal refresh and vertical refresh ranges in the owner's documentation (supposing you actually keep manuals) 2. When Mandrake boots, I am supposing it defaults to loading KDE...

How do i log in as root in mandrake?

you could kill "X" with ctrl-alt-backspace, which would drop you to the shell. Typing "exit" would back you out further. You could then login with root and enter the password. Enter "startx" at the root prompt to start "X" as root.
