My Asus V6800 Geforce DDR is running at up to 80 degrees celsius after playing quake 3!!!!! Is this too hot???????

Help!!
there are a few different types.
the most popular is ADSL (asymettric digital subscriber line) up to about 6 megabits/second i think
Others are HDSL (High bit rate DSL) and VDSL (Very high data rate DSL).
VDSL can only be used within about 300m of an exchange but gets up to 50megabits/second...
i'm running at about 52 degrees when under full load according to the asus a7v sensor. how accurate is this?
i have another athlon machine which occasionally locks up for no reason and it reads about 55-57 degrees on the a7v mb. is this too hot? could this be the problem
