ASUS A8N-E chipset fan works great on Rev 2 board

I continue to see comments and confusion on the ASUS A8N-E chipset fan so let me clear this up. Revision 2 boards with the good, smooth, quiet chipset fan have been shipping since quarter 4 of 2005. Anyone who has ordered this board this year definitely should have received the revision 2 board...

Why would I * Not * get the Asus A8N-VM-CSM instead of the A8N-E?

Asus A8N-E chipset fan - How loud?

I have the revision 2 A8N-E board. Fan is quiet. Works good.

Asus A8N32 SLI Deluxe <-- Is the audio ok?

The sound on my ASUS A8N-E sounds fine. I use Logitech 5.1 speakers.

New NVIDIA nForce4 Drivers For Windows XP and Windows XP Professional x64

I see now. The driver for AMD is for the nForce4, ultra, and sli which is still at 6.70. this driver is for the AMD/Intel X16 chipset. The original nForce4 sli is dual 8 bit. this is for the dual 16 bit sli.

GA-8N-SLI QUAD ROYAL reviews?

Maybe this hasn't had any replies, because I for one don't really understand the question. Are you referring to a Gigabyte GA-K8N-SLI motherboard? You ask about 2 graphics cards with a comparable motherboard? I don't know what you mean. Yo uask about 4 video cards? SLI board will take 2 PCI...

The 7800gtx does require a good power supply, so maybe check it out?

Am I going nuts?

So now that your system is running with the one drive, have you tried anything else with the SATA drives? Were you trying to run them in a RAID or not? Which SATA ports did you have them plugged in to? As to the Nvidia drivers... I've been using v6.70 and they work great.

Creative live killed my A8N SLI Premium?

You reference Xp so I'm guessing yo uare using WinXP home or pro. What service pack? Did you ever disable on board sound in the BIOS? What power supply are you using? Does it have a 24 pin motherboard plug? Do you have the 12v 4 pin cable plugged in?
