Windows can't find ".bat"

the message header is ".bat" then the message is "Windows cannot find '.bat' . Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try. again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search." This happens when I startup my computer and at other random times. Usually when idleing.

The message says "Windows can't find ".bat"" and then goes on saying something about can't find it try searching some other way....

I do not charge anybody for my services ... that is with building computers ;) But like a lot of people have said if you build someone a computer ... YOU are tech support ... if you charge that only gets worse ... people that can't build their own comp can generally not troubleshoot it either...

Is it worth buying a ATI just for text quality?

seen both ATI and NVIDIA cards and honestly can't tell the difference...

Quick question about my planned upgrade:

I am not sure about xp... I know windows 2000 wouldn't allow this... wouldn't even boot... and since the stabilty of XP is heavily based on 2000 I would be inclined to believe that it wouldnt' work.... it would be reformat time....

I will be in the Dorms for the next three years... I am a RA (resident assistant) so there is no way that I would be able to get HD broadcast for the next three years...

Well there are some tvs out there that do support 480p and not 1080i or 780p... they are called Enhanced TVs... I will not get one of those the difference in price between those and HDTVs are like 50-100 bucks... so what.... I do not play video games on it... and I do not have digital cable...

HDTV or analog flat...

The game is windows 95. Another thing that I noticed... On the auto load install screen there are two options install and play... after I install the game play still doesn't highlight as an option only install still.....

My friend and I decided that we wanted to reminisce by playing a little magic... we pulled out the cds dusted them off and installed away... after installing we have no game the game doesn't load at all... I even tried compatibility mode and nothing... any ideas?
