So I have a wireless router in one end of the house where my PC resides. My sons PC's are in their bedrooms the other end of the home. I purchased my son a wireless usb adapter and he says the signal is 2 bars and occasionally 1 bar and very slow.
I want to get something to boost the signal...
I also just purchased the P6X58D last night along with the i7 930.
I also got a WD 1Tb SATA 6gb HD. I'll see how fast this is on the new SATA port.
My graphics card arrived today, a Sapphire HD 5970.
I'm ugrading my current computer system and giving my old system to my son.
My current...

The reason I'm going with 12Gb of ram is not for the gaming aspect. But I'm a software developer and do C# development and also using SQL Server 2008 for development. So I'm always writing SPL's and SSIS packages in SQL Server which can easily use the 12Gb for a performance boost
No microcenter here where I live. I did look at the ASUS P6X58D Premium motherboard but heard some people say they had problems mounting it to the HAF 932.
So I'm upgrading my PC
I've already order 3 Dell 2709W monitors, they arrive on friday
I purchased a Sapphire HD 5970 video card
I puchased the HAF 932 Limited Edition case, Red with the AMD Dragon on the side.
Already have a Thermaltake ToguhPower 750W modular PSU
Now I'm shopping for...
I play a lot of first person shooter type games.

I'm not big into online playing. I just like to load a game and relax.
Do the following games have single...

So Intel cut the Q6700 by 50% and it puts the price now down close to the Q6600. So does this make the Q6700 a better buy than the Q6600. What are it's OC potential? Or do I get the cheaper Q6600?
I picked up 2 EVGA 8800GT 512mb this weekend at TigerDirect. $189.99 each with MIR $30 each...

The other options I have are
2 x 8800 GTS
1 9800 GTX
1 9800 GX2 - This I would have to put about...
