Official "The Sims 2" Thread

I'm getting crashes too. I bought a pre-made house, but I hated the yellow siding on it. So when I use the build tool to remove the siding (and better) get some cash back for it, it crashes. Can't figure out why. I'm playing wiht 1 GB RAM and a 6800 NU GC. WTF?

thanks a lot. I called tech support and they gave me an RMA#. I'm glad it's on warranty, or I'd hold out for the dvd-dl media to drop in price and get a dual layer burner. anyone with any experience with those yet?

I had that installed for a while with no problems, BUT, just in case, I uninstalled InCD last night and still having the issue.

Hey everyone, I need some help here: Within the last couple weeks I've all the sudden been unable to read or write to CD's of any type (ROM, -R, -RW) in my plextor px-708a (firmware 1.06). The strange thing is that it reads and writes DVDs (+R, +RW) just fine. When I put in a cd, the light...

Need Help on the Ship in Farcry --PLEASE--

I used the grenade launcher on the assault rifle a few times from the ships wheelhouse, and that pretty much did the trick

Intel Extreme Graphics 2

I was able to play Doom III on my intel extreme graphics (until my 6800 arrived), albeit at very low resolution and low quality. But it was very playable at that! Other than that, I could play Civ III and the Sims, but not much else.
