Recommend me a set of tires plz! Not sure if I want summer or all seasons

A decent summer tire will put even the best all-season to shame. You'll also be lucky to get two years worth of driving out of them, less if you drive a lot (About 20k miles is what you should expect from a decent summer tire). A cheap summer tire won't be much better than the best all-season...

I am only wrong when my comments are taken out of context. I said engine braking was pointless. That comment was made in response to a post that was recommending engine braking to the OP apparently as a means to prevent the brake smoking that occurred as a result of his spirited driving...

Those will be fine for protecting your noggin from any serious impact, but they aren't going to protect your face any. I'll post some pics of what my helmet looked like after my last crash when I get home tonight. I'm very glad the helmet took the damage as opposed to my face.

If he was braking hard enough to overheat his brakes, then any amount of engine braking would have been trivial. Engine braking really only applies to light braking scenarios. In more spirited driving, the engine can't even remotely compete with the vehicles brake system.

Oil change trouble

If the drain plug was reinstalled while everything was still warm or hot, and you tried to remove the drain plug while it was cold, it will be tougher to remove. If it was overtightened even a bit, it will be a LOT tougher to remove. I follow a very exact routine every time I change my oil...
