3 UltraSharp 2001FP good for eyefinity setup?

I hope the OP is aware the 2001FP only has 400:1 contrast ratio and 16ms response time, It's an old model.. originally released in 2003 (it was my first LCD purchase). LCD picture quality has come a long way since then.

Newegg's description might be misleading, My 2333T doesn't have a glossy screen its the bezel itself that is a glossy black. I have a PX2370(TN) and 2333T side by side, they both seem to share very similar matte type screens, the biggest difference I notice PQ wise is the 2333T has much better...

Good IPS/PVA Monitor under $300

I can only speak for the 2333T, If you value good black levels like me then you'll love this monitor (black level measures 0.04 cd/m2!) It is great for watching movies & surfing the web. Mine came with 0 dead pixels and no backlight bleed. The only downside is it's probably the slowest of the 3...

Zotac - GTX 460 SLI, up in smoke!

Yea I find this part really bizarre, If I smelled burning I would've had the case cover off and inspected everything. And maybe its just my case but I have to remove the side panel to change the PSU anyhow ... The case is like 4 years old tho maybe things have changed.

PVA Monitor vs. HDTV

The LG is probably running in Vivid mode which may look bright & colorful but its actually very inaccurate. LG manuals (at least newer ones) actually mention vivid mode being used in a retail store environment to maximize sharpness / color / contrast. In reality its also shortening the lifespan...

Why don't all monitors come factory color calibrated?

Ya I wish more companies would address this color issue between models.. I have a TN based Samsung PX2370 and it was tested under 2.3 avg. DeltaE from the factory in various reviews, It's puts our older Samsung 2232BW+ to shame in comparison (also TN). Then I have a Samsung 2333T (PVA panel)...

6 bit vs 8 bit LCDs

My 2333T (PVA panel) is 6-bit with FRC but oddly it still shows smoother gradients (less banding) than my PX2370 TN panel sitting next to it, figured they would be the same.
