Question WHAT VIDEO CARD CAN I GET BY WITH?

If you can, get one with the DDR5 memory. The Asus I noted has DDR5. The Gigabyte DDR4. So I can go with the Asus. Thanks for the advice.

One more question. I think:rolleyes: I have these two brand choices for the 1030, both are the same price. ASUS GT 1030 PH OC edition 2GB Gigabyte GT1030/2Gb DDR4 Low Profile D4 2G Is one superior over the other?

Thanks for the advice. I'm really hoping I won't have to use this as a backup. I will look for a suitable card for now and when things get more realistic with VGA I can try for an upgrade.

Existing library of videos already on HDD, nothing to do with a car's backup camera. Thanks for taking the time to respond. Probably use the 1TB WD Passport that I have now for the backup. Justin

The summary of the article state: "it's not cost efficient to use them for cold storage anyway, so if you're looking to archive data I would recommend going with hard drives for cost reasons alone." Is a WD Passport 1TB a good choice or would a 3.5 in. be more appropriate?

If I can save $20 and get a reliable drive I would do that. Any thoughts on the MyDigital BP4? Have kinda ruled out the Mushkin based on bad reviews. Thanks, Justin
