Canon Powershot G12 Vs Canon Rebel T3

Question ... The Canon G12 has a 5x Optical Zoom. The T3 Wal-Mart Bundle comes with a EF-S 18-55mm zoom lens equivalent to a 28-90mm lens on an analog camera with 0.92' minimum focusing distance. Can someone explain how this lense compares to the zoom on the Canon G12? I've never had a SLR...

Alienware Laptops - Worth The Cost?

Great to have insight from someone who compared Apple vs Alienware. It's a tough call. My machine is so ancient at this point any laptop would honestly be an upgrade. How much extra did the "Alienware" name and look seem to run you when compared to computers with identical parts?

Is this machine worth $200?

What's the quality of Gateway? I'm not familiar with them at all except for the fact when I was a kid and they had all those crazy colored desktops that I wanted one :) Are the specs worth the investment or am I better off getting something like this which is $350...

Is this machine worth $200?

It's been so long since I've bought a laptop I feel like a noob all over again :) The fact I'd be third owner worries me too and it's Windows Vista. I figure if I'm going to upgrade I should get a machine with 7 right?

Recommend me a netbook replacement ... please
