I have a friend who has a Motorola Wireless-G router - he says it works well.

TB Santa Cruz 19.99 AR Nice new look AT!

Link Also supports 5.1 channel audio. I'm using a Santa Cruz w/o 5.1, still an awesome card. Much better than most onboard sound chips, and even compares favorably to an Audigy or Audigy 2.

    What does this message mean..

If it's normal.dot, then I wouldn't worry about it too much. That's the normal document template, and as long as the actual working document saves, then it should be all right.

    Printing in AOL 8.0

Yeah, if I were running AOL, my "friend" would probably also be having problems... j/k The only thing I can think of is that the page you're printing is some sort of weird framed page - and the browser is somehow selecting an empty frame to print. Do all the other applications print?

Legacy Support for TB Santa Cruz (Win98 SE WDM Drivers)

Version 4193, installed the WDM drivers on win98se. Windows sound works; DOS command prompt sound while still running Win98 shell works, but I know that legacy support is not enabled under pure DOS (i.e. restart in MS-DOS mode). The turtlebeach.com website says it can be enabled from the Santa...

    Portable Basketball System $113 shipped

Direct Link Looks like a pretty solid hoop - no idea about price comparisons though. Free shipping is nice.

Dialup Internet $5.50 per month, 150hr per mo.- 550access.com

Another one to look into is NeanderTech - use it for my parents and it seems to work all right. Customer support seems to be slow, but it works, so I'm not complaining. $5.75/month

Is there any FREE DVD playing software out there?

Media Player Classic works on my system, though I don't know if it's using PowerDVD's codecs (as some others have mentioned). It's free and I use it as my main video player, though, so DVD playback is bonus for me.

    * DEAD * !! Maxtor 160GB DRIVE FOR $25+tax AC AR. 70 OFF $140 AT OFFICE DEPOT, Don't cry if all orders get CANCELLED

My order at about noon today was deleted by the delivery center almost immediately after I placed it, although my CC still had a hold placed on it. I received a confirmation e-mail after placing the order but no notification of a cancellation. Good luck to those who were more fortunate that I was.

    !DEAD?Dimension 2400 2.2ghz, 128MB, 40Gb, DVD &, CD-RW 2nd bay, $300 maybe $200 @ Dell Home w/free shipping@ Dell Home

PC2100 or PC2700 RAM can be used, but it will default to 2100 speed (266 MHz) because of the 400 MHz FSB. There are only two memory slots in this machine. From what I understand, you fill out the rebate form and include the packing slip. The packing slip shows two rebates. Relevant information...

High Density SDRAM and Socket7 Boards

I know most BX-based motherboards don't support high density SDRAM, but is it all right to use it and just write off half the stick as unreadable? Right now I've got a 256 MB in my Super7 board, and it's being read as 128 MB. I figure that 128 is better than nothing, but is there any performance...

Office Depot: Maxtor 40GB 5400 hard drive $30 shipped

I found out about this deal at slickdeals.net, which also has a link to a PDF of the rebate form. I got an order confirmation, so I guess this was one of the few deals I actually got in on before it went out of stock.

TI 83+ just 69.99 at Circuit City

I believe the connectivity kit is generally priced at $15 (at least it is at OD) minus the TI $15 rebate you can find by going here. The TI-83+ has advanced statistics functions that AP stat classes in high school require, but it is definitely a bit weak for higher level college...
