reboot loop

I went into the BIOS today and the CPU temp started at around 80 F and rose to around 102 F, which is right around what I remember it being with no load. After watching that increase I for a few minutes, and having the CPU sit at 102 for about a minute I exited the BIOS and loaded a DOS boot...

ASUS A8N SLI Deluxe Problem

I built a system with an A8N SLI Deluxe mobo for my brother with a single videocard, and it wont boot. I get no video from the monitor (which I know works), and a beep code with one long beep followed by two short beeps. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this problem?

Your computer: always 'on'?

After I finish with what I'm doing on my computer I turn it off unless I'm planning on using it later in the day. I always turn it off when I go to bed.

VCD burning program

I have an English project I need to turn in on Monday (its similar to Red vs Blue) and I've decided the easest way to turn it in is to burn it on a VCD, since my teacher has a DVD player in her room. Anyone know the best free program that I could download?

Premiere question

I'm working on a project in Premiere, and I can't get one of the effects to work. I need to use clip to cut off the top and the bottom of the screen so it looks like the project is in widescreen, but I can't get clip to work on the video. I have it in the effects control and I have it enabled...

Sound card wont work

I don't see a use digital out box anywhere. I'll have to try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers again tonight. It's weird that I can't even get into the Sound Agent 2 program.

Sound card wont work

When I go to properties the sound card is selected for the default device for playback recording and other, with volume controls for everything checked. However, there is no box for master volume control.

While I don't have a volume icon on the lower right part of the screen, when I go to start->all programs->accessories->entertainment->volume control the speakers aren't muted, and I can't select the volume or the balance. Am I missing the master volume control? I'll see if the philips site has...

Sound card wont work
