Changed Dual Raptors in RAID 0 to Dynamic

From what I can tell, using Dynamic Disk on a single disk creates a 'Simple Volume' .. Which probably doesn't do much more than make it incompatible with any other OS... Dynamic Disk is really best used for software RAID solutions or disk spanning (bridging multiple disks into a single volume)...

nForce2 and Linux

FYI - nForce2 Linux drivers only support AGP with nvidia cards. The AGPGART driver is part of their GeForce driver package and is a closed source binary file. If you want 3D with nForce in Linux, your only choice is an nvidia card. punks...

Which scanner is right for me...

Canon's consumer-level scanners aren't that great, the Epson is usually a better choice. Of course the CanoScan looks nicer LOL.

80mm to 120mm fan for ThermalRight AX-7?

if you try the 120mm, please keep us posted! this could really drop the noise a few dB and make the <30 difference :)

Thanks for the info! I'm gonna go for the Panaflo H1A to be on the safe side. I play some games that tax the CPU a bit. Also gonna get some Vantec Stealth fans for the case. If its still running cool enough I'll go quieter. Anyone else wanna put their 2-cents in? Thanks again

Hey guys, I've got an Abit KT7A with a TBird 1Ghz (266FSB) and desperately need some peace and quiet! I was thinking of the magic combination - AX-7 and a Panaflo, Sun-on, or YS-Tech fan. But does the TBird run too hot for that? Do I need an XP to use this set-up? If so, anyone have any...

please help! crazy corruption issues

Arg! Still having problems! Well it seems to stabilize only when I take down the FSB to 100Mhz and set the multiplier to 10. But it is a 1Ghz 266FSB CPU it should run at 133FSB x7.5! I am going to return this CompUSA power supply and get the Enlight 400W one they have instead. Maybe that will...

thanks for the replies! all i did so far was set BIOS to fail-safe defaults (I can't figure how i didn't think to do this FIRST) and as of yet I can't reproduce the issue.. But only time will tell. I had tried a new IDE cable to no avail. Thanks for the all the help!
