I have watched certain posters grow up in these forums!

Damn it feels old to be back here

Visiting ATOT after a long time. I joined 16 years back , when I was in grad school. I now have 2 boys (9 and 5). Just wanted to say hi, feels good to be back here

how to deal with cancer

Dont mean to bump up a 2 year old thread. To share a sad update, my relative fought cancer bravely for 18 months (13 rounds of Chemo, 43 rounds of Radiation). He passed away in Feb. Thanks for the support (belated).

At what point do you think a phone/tablet will replace a desktop?

i see smartphones + chromebook type device being sufficient in the future for almost everyone but power users (developers/photographers etc)

thanks guys, i love the person in question, and cant imagine life without him/her. Its hard to accept that this is how things are, will fight and win over this m'fin disease.

been a lurker/member since a decade. A close family member has lung cancer , not able to come to grips with it. Using alcohol to lessen the pain. Any pointers on how to deal with this.

Who here uses an M4/3 camera? Post if you do

OMD E-m5 user, totally love it, have a few natives lenses (45/1.8, sigma 30/2.8 , sigma 19/2.8, panasonic 14/2.5). great setup, lovely jpegs , couldnt be happier. Had a pentax dslr setup before and find the m43 system far better suited to my style and much easier to carry around
