Another Major Disappointment. They can't be serious, like... march? That's not even only DOA anymore, that's already like quadruple DOA.
GG Nvidia and sucks to be a consumer. The latter is not Nvidia's fault but AMD's this time.
How do you want to fix this? It is exactly how anti-lag+ works and how it is supposed to work according to AMD themselves - it's meant to alter game files. And that's a big problem for any anti cheat software.
As long as it's a driver feature which you have to activate there rather than in...
AMD's implementation of Anti-Lag+ means it modifies game files so VAC (and probably any other anti cheat software out there) get's triggered and you'll get potentially banned because of that.
Probably the reason why AMD pulled the driver from there download section because they know they fucked...
12GB are a joke and that will cause problems in the future. Hell that's the case already as of today (see one of the latest HWUB videos).
The only good thing about that card is it's power efficiency. Everything else is just a pure scam, especially pricing. You can get a 6950XT for slightly more...
Su and even Pat knows how to play the game. I mean ofc you could still give a guidance for the full FY, but that won't do you any favor. It'll hurt you even more cause it's not possible to predict an outcome of more than like the recent quarter for now. And a "false" guidance... well.
According to Intel regarding DCAI revenue:
This will obviously continue throughout Q1 since it's getting worse for Intel. For AMD to deliver such a bad outlook, they literally have to cancel all client products and don't sell a single one. I mean GM of freaking 39% in Q1. The hell is Intel...
Well technically PBO is overclocking. So that statement on their product page is not wrong since PBO (and CO) are already confirmed for all 7xxxX3D SKUs.
Did you look at the reddit post I posted above? That cable mod adapter was not plugged in correctly. Plain and simple and that's obvious looking at it. Because you can see how far it has been plugged in. Which was not all the way in.
And yes, there is less of a feedback plugging in the 12VHPWR...
See the reddit thread about it. Not plugged in correctly (like all of the cables so far) and that it's "melting" is what you would expect in this case.
The connector just needs a good enough indicator that it's fully plugged in. That's not the case for common folks right now. Which is bad...
That would make a lot more sense if they're doing this and these numbers are directly from AMD. Which I still doubt for now since... well it's MLID. You never know.
I just want an X3D announcement tonight. Don't care about some 65W TDP Desktop-CPUs tbh.
Doesn't look right. According to TPU the 7700X is ~39% faster in CS:GO than the 5800X3D so a 7800X3D with only +23% would be way slower.
That doesn't make sense unless it's clocked at something like 4.x GHz. Which I doubt.
People are getting 110°C hot spot temps which means the GPU is throttling which means the performance will be lower - and all that with fans already at 100%.
So no, that is def not "normal" that you're getting the gpu to thermal throttle with fans at max speed.
