you can't really tell how long a book is by the # of pages. order of the poenix is like 900 pages but the text is huge.
the longest book i read was the stand at 1200 pages and the text was small.
It was pretty good. Not nearly as good as the miniseries back in 2003 but much better than the crap that's been coming out lately.

Dude, a lotta movies are actually BETTER the 2nd time around. You absorb and understand so much more the 2nd time around. Movies like Braveheart, LOTR and other good movies prove my point.
