alright well i did format c:/s/q. then i went to transfer the floppy to the harddrive, sorry but how do i do this, im real new to dos, i used the extract command, and it said system transferred, but i boot up, and its not there. so basically, how do i get the files off the floppy onto the now...

i have a very old laptop, but my dad still uses it, it had 98, but it needed reinstalling. So i did the usual fdisk, format c: and its ready for windows 98. Problem is, you can only have a floppy or cdrom in, can't have both in at the same time. The thing is, im using the floppy to boot the...

im confident when i blow dust out of heatsink it will drop to low 60's like when i first built, the amount of dust is insane

ok i built my uncle a computer a couple months ago...2000+ epox 8ka3e. The temperate of the cpu was 65..im like hmm, this is high...so i literally just wiggled the heatsink and it went down instantly to 55... and stayed around there, so i didn't think much of it, and left it alone. Now i just...

alright thanks for the advice...what about what i said about pc3700 being latent, does it have very high latency? the stuff on newegg does say low latency though..

about to order 2.4c or 2.6c? opinions needed

im ditching my amd system and going with the intel setup..which cpu on average ocs more? the 2.4c or the 2.6c? All my goal is for now is 3 ghz with the stock intel cooler..this should be no problem at all..however later on i will oc it more, so which on average goes higher? ive heard the 2.4c...
