Building New Computer, Please Suggest...

I hear that the L2 cache makes little difference in overall performance. Meaning, the difference is so small and miniscule that it's not going to be visibly seen or "felt" when you use it. Correct me if I'm wrong on that. Dual-core has its issues but its primary issues are due to softwares...

X2 game issue...Is it the same with ATI and NVIDIA?? How many problems are the P-Ds having???

I went for a quick run through Serious Sam 2. As expected, the retail code doesn't have proper support for dual-core CPUs. Setting up affinity will solve the problems I've mentioned before on my run through the Serious Sam 2 Demo. The latest patch (2.064b) didn't indicate any fixes to handle...

Depending on how you intend to use the system, you can go with either processor. However, it's good to take note that future games will be making some more use of dual-core processors or at least support it to the extent that it doesn't exhibit any odd behavior in-game. My opinion says to go...
