DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Prior to installing SP2, this card never gave me a single problem, and I've had it since 2000 or 2001. And I do use the digital-output (although I'm pretty sure it is not optical). I guess if the crashes continue, I'll try using the onboard sound. No clue what kind of soundchip it has...

Looks like the creative driver site is down (keep getting an error page). When I use the Auto-Update feature, it tells me that the 2001 driver is the latest. I googled and found a '02 driver which I installed, and so far no crashes (keeping my fingers crossed).

I found a sound blaster driver from 3/18/2002, so I installed that. I'll let you know if I get another BSOD. Thanks for the help!

FC-PGA2 Tualatin Converter for S370 MB, $9.99

I have the same mobo, and using the adapter straight out of the box I can't even get to the BIOS with a CelT 1.2GHz chip in there. What BIOS version are you using? Did you have to do anything else? I'm a little frustrated over here...

FC-PGA2 Tualatin Converter for S370 MB, $9.99

Cool.. from the looks of overclockers.com, the 1.2 can very easily go to 1.6. So $10 for the adapter, and $40 for the CPU and I can have a 1.6GHz Celeron w/ 256kb cache. Not too shabby.. Would probably beat the pants off my current p3/1GHz

Why do you say that? I'm not trying to disagree, just were wondering what exactly you had heard.. I checked on overclockers.com, and the average speed a 1.3T overclocked to was 1.65GHz. Granted, most people used some very elaborate cooling.. My setup is an Asus CUSL2, and I have an Alpha...

I'm wondering the same thing.. I'd love to get a CelT 1.4 and run it at 4/3 * 1.4 (1.87GHz), or even a CelT 1.3 (1.73GHz). Anyone try this?

What is required to get into MIT and ITT Tech

I'm really not sure how accurate those numbers are, or where they even come from. Granted they're a few years old, but from what I saw they seem very low. I only know 2 people who started at under 40k, and I know a good dozen who started at $100+k/year. I'd say the average was more around...

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to go ahead and completely disagree with you on virtually everything you said in this post. I was at the institute for 5 years, and I don't know anyone who was even close to 120k in debt. I don't know anyone who was 60k in debt. I can only think or one or two...

What is required to get into MIT and ITT Tech

I'm pretty sure that MIT has "need blind" admissions.. as do most other top schools, meaning that having lots of money gives you no advantage for admission.
