Better to get the DIR-655, which is an updated version of that router with a faster CPU and gigabit switch. Did I mention it had better wireless range as well? It is $99 shipped at Frys.com.

That's correct. I own that Netgear as well as the DGS-2208. Performance is about the same, as far as I can tell, but the Negear runs very hot. I would not recommend the Netgear if your ambient temperatures exceed 80 degrees. The DGS runs much cooler, provided you get the newer 5v...

I seriously doubt that is the case here. I would be surprised if the MPAA even told Comcast what you infringed. Accusing you of pirating a network program is about the best thing Comcast can do in this scenario. It doesn't upset the average customer which may not be aware that it is illegal...

Too Much Speed with Comcast??

Be aware throughput with "PowerBoost" is decieving. You only see the improved throughput for the first 10 megabytes of a file, or the first ~15 seconds of a connection, depending on how the cable provider has configured their system. All of these speed tests complete within that time frame...

Word on the street is that AMD will slash CPU prices by up to 40% next month. It will be interesting to see what, if any, effect that has on older 939 parts. I'm still holding out for a $50 Opteron 165.
