Chart for memory and mobos?

Hi everyone, Is there a chart around that shows which mobos like which memory best? I go to the sites and they generally list a few, which of course is ok, but do some design the board in mind for a specific memory, is what I'm actually asking. ALSO I happen to have a year old unused...

Comp hangs when cold (temperature...)
