Emperor Nero: exactly! What I haven't been able to figure out is why the standard isn't being adopted by everyone so that designers don't have to use proprietary tags... would make my life a whole hell of a lot easier. ;-)

Maxis game problems ...

Both a friend of mine and myself had video conflicts with Maxis software, both he and I had to obtain updated software drivers for our video cards before we could play reliably. The software titles and the video cards were different, but the resolution to the problem was the same. You might...

I hate AOL techincal support!!!!!!

But according to their ads, they have the best customer service of all ISPs, now and forever! ;-) There install CDs make good beer coasters, though. Saved many a table at my place.

can't read burned cd's

If he's creating them as a data CD, and then copying data to the media, he would then have to format it to be read by other devices. I have an HP 7500e, and if you eject the CD without formatting it first, you then can only read it in that particular burner (not even in any other HP burner)...

What is a fatal OE exception error in VXD?? I'm crashing!

Hmmmm... I thought it was video as well... I don't know what part of the sysboard was having the problem since eclaim just drops a new one in the box, but since it's a laptop... Have you tried looking for an updated driver on the web?

What is a fatal OE exception error in VXD?? I'm crashing!

Are you experiencing the error in any other program or application? I recently had an ThinkPad A20M with the same error message, it kept popping up after the OS launched, and about once every minute after that... after changing out the HDD for one with a new software image from another A20M...

Weird Computer Freezing Problem -- please help!!

You might want to check the manufacturer's website for an updated driver... the driver itself may have an incompatibility with your system that has been addresses in an updated version. the usage manual should have a URL that will point you in the right direction for a technical FAQ if they...
