Anyone heard of DashToolz and/or Dash PO?

MSN messanger and Linksys Router

do what I tell everyone who has trouble sending files with the big IM clients: try BitWise Chat, which not only seems to be much better about sending files, but also compresses and encrypts them for you on the fly. :)

Cross-Platform secure IM Project with wxWindows: Idea-Gathering Stage, invitation for your opinions

Somewhat familiar with the command prompt, but GUI development is way outside of my league. It will certainly be coming a part of my league in the future. ;) Do you have any ideas of other forums or sources for people that might be interested in helping. This obviously isn't working out so well.

Isn't this one of those features that should be mandatory? Heck, even BitWise Chat supports that... not that I would know anything about that, of course. ;) Why a service would allow multiple names the same and then not give a way to differentiate them is beyond me.

msn messenger alternatives

You can try BitWise Chat, if your firewall allows outgoing connections it can work... or, if not, you can always set up a buddy list from home and then message them from the website. It's not necessairly elegant but it may be worth a shot.

Which instant messaging software (and version)do you prefer?

I only post cause it just happened again, but Trillian just crashed. That is fairly not cool with open convos and whatnot... and all I did was double-click on someone's name! Or maybe that's a "feature..." I'd rather have stability than most of the extra stuff they have that I never use.
