Prior military, what did you do on your first day out?

Loaded the U-haul and headed north to Wa. State. Spent the night in Grangeville, Id. Good times, I guess.

New Career

My brother and sister in laws are both post masters of neighboring towns and pull in around 120 to 140 a year together. They have great retirement and although they work hard with the day to day hassles, they seem to be content. I've done enough soul searching that I realize this is the way...

New Career

Just have put my two week notice in at my current job. GM of a series of rock quarries in NE Washington State. In two weeks I will start my new career in the United States Post Office. I can't deny the benefits and retirement. Its hard to give up this way of life and the entrepreneurial...

What are you listening to *right now*?!

Soup is a great great under-rated album. I listened that bastard into the ground. I am currently listening to Johnny Cash - Louisiana Man. This is some rare stuff and I've never heard it before. I'm a big JC fan so I am in a very happy place.

Got a new ride.

To the OP. Nice vehicle. I can surely appreciate the need for more room. I just recently had a kid and with two dogs, the kid, and all the kid's gear to go visit family, the Nissan Altima wasn't big enough. We did some research and went with a Toyota Sequoia. Man, its so much more...

whats wrong with nudity?

I don't think I mentioned being scared. Maybe I missed it. I was just bringing up a couple of points I might have issues with. Having been raised here in the U.S. in a rural setting, I don't believe I am as comfortable with nudity as some in the European countries.

Would you like to sit in a seat on public transportation just after a large man with only sandles on sat in it on a hot summer day? Would you like to eat across from the fat jolly dude nude at a public park or eatery? I feel a lot of opinions would change after you have kids or caught some...

Just finished The Dark Tower series by Stephen King

I enjoyed the whole series. I wasn't sure when King began to include himself in the story, but he rode it out alright...I can live with that. I do think that the death of the Crimson King and Walter were a bit weak though..

How old were you in 1992?

Was 17 and had entered delayed enlistment for the Navy. Bucking bales in the summer time and playing sports the rest of the year. Had a car and a couple of girlfriends, a new Alice in Chains album (Dirt), a new STP album (Core), and everything was alright.

Their best album title was "Hairway to Steven". Independant Worm Saloon didn't have any "hits" but is still a great album.

Is Ray Liotta the worst actor to play a leading role in an all-time great movie?

I watched Goodfellas this weekend, I've always thought he did well in that movie. Was cool to see Christopher from Sopranos as Spyder. Joe Pesci did him wrong.
