65C high load too high?

PC Altert 4, came with my MSI K7N2 motherboard. I get simlar temps in my BIOS. And yes, its been stable so far (only had it for about 3 days).

65C high load too high?

I'm running an Athlon XP 3000+ only running at 1.73ghz (because of 2100 RAM) for the time being and my idle temp is 48-50C, normal load, 50-57C, and high load (running Aquamark) its about 60-65C. I'm using a Thermaltake Silent Boost (not Tower), with Antec Reference Compound. I plan on getting...

I just tried a different PSU and its doing the same thing. I'll mess around with the connectors, if that doesn't work, I think I'll just order a Duron or something. Thanks for the replies and keep them comming if you have any more ideas!

ATi Catalyst 3.4 drivers

I think that the Cat2.4 fix some half-life bugs, dunno which ones off the top of my head, check the fixes list for the drivers for details on what they are. Unless new problems arose with newer drivers, then I doubt they will fix anything. So far I have tried the 3.1's and 3.2's, both with...

ATi Catalyst 3.4 drivers

Has anyone tried these with HL/TFC/CS? With previous drivers I had very unstable FPS, it was pretty much unplayable, so I had to put in my old GF2 MX. If these drivers fix the unstable FPS, I'll put my Radeon back in.

When you say 'missing' do you mean missing in Device manager? or in My Computer? The devices are visable in device manager (w/ exclimation mark by it) but not in My Computer. Either way, I'll give it a try later on tonight when I get back from the movies.

Which 80G Hard Drive? Please Advise

2 of the 3 Maxtor drives I've owned have died and I have RMA'd them both. The 3rd drive is still running after two years, and I wouldn't be suprised if it died sometime soon. I own 3 WD drives and none of them have died, still using them. My vote goes to the WD drive.
