Peter Jennings dies of lung cancer at 67

Terrible, I really enjoyed his broadcasts. Besides watching cartoons, I remember watching his newcasts in the 1980s when I was growing up. Damn shame.

The new Zalman VF700: active cooling for your graphics card

I just bought the all copper version from Newegg and I am very pleased with its performance given my needs, and noise, or lack thereof, output. I actually get 4 - 5 degrees centigrade cooler temps with my FX5600. Highly recommended for the quiet PC enthusiast.

Both the Cu and AlCu variants are listed on their website: VF700 I read on the Zalman forums that the US ETA for both products is Dec. 23rd.

I was playing a DVD the other day using RealOne the other day and had minimized it while I did some work in Photoshop and Dreamweaver Ultradev. But as I worked I noticed that my system (windows 2000 SP4, 785MB DDR RAM, 120GB HD, 1800+ Thoroughbred, ASUS A7N8X Deluxe) got pretty sluggish...

Barracuda 7200.7 sata 120 gb seems noisey
