Hello,
One of the features I really liked about Windows 7 was that it was very easy to deny a user from saving to certain drives in the computer. This function was under User Accounts, but I'm unable to locate it in Windows 7 RC1.
I was wondering if someone can point me to the right...
My 2407 support 1920X1200, so I would like to run native if possible.
I appreciate the replies and the links. I am partial to EVGA, so I'll be looking at their superclocked video cards, if they clock as high as the XFX, it should be on par with the benchmarks I saw.
SteelSix: Those...
Going to be upgrading from my current rig, to an i7 build. I don't upgrade much, maybe once every two to three years.
I've decided on an SLI setup, and I like what I see with GTX 280 in SLI, but I was wondering if going with GTX 260 Tri-SLI setup be better than GTX 280 in SLI. This link...
As you can see by my current Desktop, I don't upgrade much, but the upgrade bug has bit me, and it's itching quite a bit.
Had all my selected i7 components which included the EVGA X58 in my cart on newegg, then read that the FTW version of the card would be released next month.
Exactly...
Man, had placed an order for the EVGA X58, then read that the FTW board should be out soon. Was all excited to maybe get all the stuff in for thanksgiving, would have been great to have the new setup with family over, thanks for the heads up on the FTW board.
I was wondering if someone could help me out
This is on my parent's computer which is running Vista Home Premium. I get calls from my father about every two weeks asking me if I could come by and fix the computer.
The root cause of most issues is due to my little brother installing...
I appreciate the advice.
I do, or at least I would like to have the possibilities of SLI if a need does arise. As I said earlier, I don't update/upgrade every time a new CPU comes out, so I figured spend the money on a decent CPU and a decent motherboard and it should be good for a few...
I'm not that type to upgrade much, probably once every three to four years.
My 7800GTX finally bit the dust, and since I'm due for an upgrade, I went ahead and purchased a 9800 GTX about three weeks ago. Since the new NVIDIA Cards are to be released tomorrow, I get to use EVGA's step up...
I appreciate the response.
So it seems the Intel boards still don't support SLI, but does it support a single Nvidia card solution? To be quite honest, I seem to read more praises for the P5E3 board than I do for the 790 Striker board. The case and everything else I need comes in today...
I'm in the market for new build and I'd trying to decide between these two boards. I hardly every upgrade so I chose to go with the a DDR3 board for future upgrade purposes if need be.
I'll be using one or an SLI setup with an EVGA 9800GTX cards. I'm assuming the Intel board supports...
Excuse my ignorance on this issue, been out of the PC building for a while now, but do all P35 boards that support DDR3 compatible with DDR2 Memory?
I normally upgrade every few years, and I'm thinking about updating to an Intel build and was wondering if it was wise to invest on a P35 board...
Should be coming in by wednesday or thursday.
Don't really mind moving the HDD. Trying my best not to upgrade the whole PC. Gonna see if just upgrading the video card is enough for my gaming needs, if not, I'll upgrade everything including the case.
I appreciate the help though.
Was wondering if anyone here knows if a 9800GTX can into a Thermaltake Tsunami? I'm considering upgrading my video card and would like to know if the 9800GTX can fit into the Tsunami case without any modifications. If anyone has any information or input, any help on this is greatly appreciated.
