Whoops... I feel so dumb. I went back to see my coworker for a second pass and it did the conversion to Audio CD fine. I think his problem was just trying to burn to a CDRW that was incompatible with his player. I just got confused from something I read in the help file. Thanks for all the help...

I see the green lines occasionally when I power up, but then they go away. I will let u know if I find anything out. Kevin

OK, I will go back and double check. It is on a drive I installed at a coworkers puter at the office. Its been a few days now and I don't remember the exact sequence I followed, but I got the impression that it could burn Audio CD format to Audio CD format but that it directed me to a $plug in$...

Did it come with Nero version 5? Looked at a box for $10 after rebates at office Max. I just bought a liteon but it seems to only come with Nero Express which is missing MP3 to audio CD conversions. Kevin

Tried the Degauss but it is still the same. The contrast/ brightness thing is weird, right? I haven't tried with a DVD movie yet. Just hoping there isn't something wrong with the monitor. Kevin

I Looked at the online manual . As far as I can tell, it is the button at the far left, below the screen , that sets to factory setting. But when I press that, it seems all washed out. To get the colors reasonably vibrant, I have to set Brightness all the way off and Contrast all the way on...

I just got hold of a Dell 21" P1110 monitor. I think it will work OK, but the color/contrast/brightness adjustments seem out of whack. The white seems tinged and the colors seem washed out. I think it is just a question of messing with all the controls. Is there an easy way to just set it at a...

Well, I may have to go there eventually( S-Video to a TV), but want to go with one big monitor at first. Part of this whole deal is avoiding having the TV take over the living room watching mindless junk. I have two kids and would like them to be a little more choosy about what is watched...
