Please help me to choose cooling for slot A AMD750 processor

Hi all:), I need to change cooling for my ancient AMD 750 processor. The problem is that unlike many Athlons this particular specimen is a Slot A processor. Well, I could buy "Globalwin FRK50 AMD K7 Slot A" solution, but what I do not like there is that the part of it is 50mm, 6400rpm...

Simple question about fans

Hi all:), It might be a very stupid question, but what does 80mm in a fan description refer to? Is it the span of its blades or the length of one of the sides of the square? Thanx in advance for help. Kocur.

Question regarding a memory

Well, I am going to buy AMD 64 3500+, and these processors have their multiplier locked (although you can lower it). I hope that with a good memory, I could overclock it to 2750 - 3000MHz when needed.

Hi dwono, If I were you (unless you are in a hurry), I would definitely wait for about a month in order to get NF4 board and 90 nm AMD 64 part. My recommendations: A64 3200 (939, 90 nm) - about 200$ - should overclock quite nicely, NF4 mobo - it should be at least as good as NF3 250 +...

Hi Glavinsolo, I think, that due to the process being not mature yet, there may be large differences between the processors. Your results are quite nice, but in order to get to 2.6 you had to increase the voltage to 1.6V. I would say that your CPU will end up at 2.75 on 1.675 (air...
