The price is just killing the PS3, killing it dead. People can't just shell out $400 in this economic environment. Something sure needs to change if they want to sell more units.

Do 8800 GTS suffer from GT problem ?

The fan starts getting noticable around 70%, at least that is what I have found. Below that, you can hardly hear it.

Read your MOBO manual. I have the same board and processor. The literature on the MOBO will show you where that change can be made. If you don't have this figured out by the time I get home from work, I will post your instructions, but it is in manual. Also, Like someone said above...

I'll be interested in what version I will get. I grabbed one at bestbuy.com on 12/11. It shipped today and will arrive on Monday.
