It doesn't take long for the savings you make on not renting a cable modem to pay for the cost of buying the exact same modem they would rent you. I bought a motorola cable modem for ~30$ after rebate and it was the exact same model as the rented one I replaced. The only way you could tell them...
I would avoid going back to those stations ever and if I knew how report them. Some gas stations will cheat and run their pumps so that they read higher than the actual amount of gas pumped into the car. with a 17.2 gallon tank its probably possible to put close to 18 gallons in from bone try to...
It's also possible you are maxing out your upload capacity. Since tcp transmitions require an ACK to be sent for every packed received swamping the upload can greatly delay the ack response and end up slowing down your download speed even tho it's no where near maxed out. Try limiting the max...
My biggest problem with the 3xx series from Olevia and pretty much all HD Monitors I've seen is the lack of inputs.
1- HDMI
1- Component
1- VGA which can be used as component with an adaptor cable
1- S video or composite
This just plain isn't enough inputs for even a moderate setup...
The 537h does have 1:1 pixel mapping and a QAM tuner. The 1:1 is one of the zoom options available. I've also hooked up the TV to the cable feed and picked up sd and hd channels with the QAM tuner from Comcast in my area.
Spending 150+ bucks on an external tuner seems a little silly since you...
as long as retailers don't raise the price before the instant rebate to just make more money this should make for some really good deals on these players. 200 or less is a very good deal on these and something I'll probably jump on since I was looking at getting a new upscaling dvd player it's...
www.monoprice.com has a good selection and price and can get anything from cheap to highest quality in most any length you want. In most cases for short lengths cheap cables should be fine. Long runs or in wall you want to make sure the cable is going to handle that.
500 bucks for a 32 inch HD LCD tv is pretty much bottom end at this point. You aren't really going to have alot of options. Even moving up to 600 your primarily going to be looking at lesser known newer brands. Even with that said I'd still skip this deal and wait for an olevia 232 or...
It's a cheap monitor but it has some drawbacks IMO.
1) no integrated HD tuner. Has a SD tuner but will require an external tuner, Cable box, sat box etc to handle HD. I know this won't matter to some and I don't even use the HD tuner in my tv but IMO it's always nice to have.
2) Major lack...
QAM is definitely a signal format. Things may be recompressed by the cable co but that doesn't have anything to do with QAM.
