Ack, I dunno about Dell laptops... I've owned two of them and never been happy with the quality, particularly of the cases. I'd recommend you look at the IBM T-series ... I've owned a total of six laptops and my T20 is the best thing I've ever owned. It would run on the high side of your price...

Does LCD screen really are better for your eye?

Datapoint: I have a Sony Trinitron 19" CRT at work and just got a Planar 17.4" PV174 LCD for home. I actually found at first that my eyes hurt more with the LCD than the CRT. After 15-20 minutes looking at it my head started to work. That was on a VGA connection, though. I just upgraded this...

Need Laser Printer Suggestions
